Saving Rocky

One day my brother and I were playing soccer in our front yard . It was getting dark , so we were finishing up our game when I saw a child out the corner of my eye .I was curious why ,what looked like a 2 year old child , was wandering about with no adult at night . Before I could get a word in he raced into my house! My sister was suprisingly calm for seeing a 2 year old in nothing but pull ups run into our house. We brought him to my mother and she luckily saw the police down the street. We eventually found his father. When we saw him he said that prior to all this he escaped twice! I hope he talked to him about stranger danger.

Child Labor

We read a passage about child labor and how it impacted the Industrial Revolution. I was suprized to find out that children as young as 4 years old  would work in the textile mills.
